Automated Product Landing Page Builder

Every campaign needed a landing page, every page was built by hand, and after a year they no longer looked like one brand. We built a template engine that composes headlines, logos and calls to action automatically from product data. A page now takes about five minutes and comes out inside the design system by construction.

The problem we were asked to solve

Every product launch, promotion and seasonal campaign needed its own landing page, and every one of them was built by hand. The cost was not only the hours — it was that hand-built pages drift. Headline treatment varies, logo placement moves, call-to-action wording changes depending on who built the page and how late it was, and after a year the catalogue of landing pages no longer looks like one brand. Meanwhile the lead time on a new page was long enough that marketing self-censored: campaigns that would have justified a dedicated page ran without one, because the page would not have been ready in time. The team needed pages produced in minutes, consistently, without a designer in the loop for routine work.

What we built

01

Template engine

Landing structures are defined once as templates covering the layouts the business actually uses. A new page is a data entry exercise against a template rather than a layout exercise from scratch.

02

Automatic composition

Headlines, logos and calls to action are placed and scaled automatically per product, so typography and spacing stay correct regardless of content length — the specific thing that goes wrong when non-designers copy an existing page.

03

Product-driven generation

Pages are generated from product data, which means a page reflects the current product record instead of a snapshot taken when someone last copied the details across.

Page builder: block list and shop catalogue on the left, the generated product landing page on the canvas with the hero block selected, and the inspector showing fields bound to the product record
The builder itself: blocks on the left, the composed page in the middle, bound fields on the right. Reproduced with anonymised data.

What changed for the client

A landing page now takes about five minutes to produce instead of a design-and-build cycle, and every page comes out inside the same design system — the consistency problem is solved structurally rather than by review. The practical effect is that marketing stopped rationing landing pages: campaigns that previously ran without dedicated pages now get them, because the cost of producing one no longer justifies going without. The builder is in production.

  • Landing page production dropped to about five minutes per page, from a full design-and-build cycle.
  • Brand consistency is enforced structurally rather than by review, so pages built months apart still belong to the same system.
  • Marketing stopped rationing landing pages: campaigns that previously launched without one now get a dedicated page, because the cost of producing it no longer justifies going without.
  • Pages are generated from live product data, so they reflect the current record instead of a snapshot taken when someone last copied the details across.
